Standard 3/8" diameter, 300-series stainless steel substrate orifice discs, with thickness coordinated to the hole size, are drilled to the specified hole diameter. The hole is centered to within ± 0.05 mm and is mechanically/optically round to the tolerance specified in the table below. The circularity tolerance of the orifice is better than 1 micron. Applications: The standard orifices may be used for critical flow orifices, gas/liquid separators, molecular beam masks, particle counters and many other mechanical purposes. Packaging: Each precision orifice is packaged in a clear plastic case, which allows for ease of identification and inspection. |
